ABOUT THE EVENT
A Tradition Since 1967
Hosted by Leeward Kai Canoe Club, the Father's Day Weekend Regatta brings together paddlers, families, cultural practitioners, and community members from across Hawaiʻi's canoe paddling community.
This two-day event celebrates:
- Hawaiian culture and traditions
- Waʻa (canoe) heritage
- Community fellowship
- Competitive regatta racing
- Local food and vendors
- Cultural education and demonstrations
Expected attendance: 5,000+ visitors

Cultural Day

PARKING & TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Community Courtesy Reminder
Please help us mālama our Nānākuli community:
- Do not block driveways
- Do not park on private property
- Follow parking attendants
- Use designated parking areas only
- Dispose of trash properly
All participating canoe clubs have been notified of community parking expectations.
Paid parking can be found at the Nānākuli Ranch, St. Ritaʻs Church, and Ka Waihona o ka Na'auao Public Charter School.
To help reduce congestion and improve safety, traffic through the park will be one-way only. Please enter through Kalanianaʻole Beach Park and exit over the bridge. Mahalo for your cooperation.

Yes.
Can I watch the races?
Absolutely. Spectators are encouraged.
Can I bring my family?
Yes. This is a family-friendly event.
Are there food vendors?
Yes. Food and merchandise vendors will be available on Sunday, June 21.
Is there public paddling?
Yes. Public paddling opportunities are scheduled during Cultural Day on Saturday.
